Who We Are

The Sutter Basin Fire Protection District, located in Robbins, California, provides fire protection and emergency response services to the Robbins community. The Fire Department's mission is to prevent the loss of life and property.  In addition the Sutter Basin Fire Protection District  responds to fires,  medical emergencies, motor vehicle accidents, rescue calls, and incidents involving hazardous materials.

Sutter Basin Fire Protection District  has a rich history of service and commitment to the residents of the Robbins community, and the greater Sutter Basin.

Our dedicated team of volunteer fire and rescue professionals work hard in order to serve and protect the community.

Commissioners

Mark Richter, Anthony Van Ruiten and Samuel Martin are the Sutter Basin Fire Protection District Commissioners.

These dedicated men serve the Sutter Basin Fire Protection District through their service to the district, the Robbins Fire Department, the Robbins Volunteer Fire Department, and the protection of the Robbins Community and the extended area within the Sutter Basin. 

Robbins Volunteer Fire Fighters

These dedicated men and women serve and protect the citizens of the Robbins Community and the Sutter Basin.
These devoted fire fighters give their time, efforts and expertise to the service of others.  Through evening trainings, weekly work days and assistance at all hours of the day and night,
these brave individuals serve our community proudly. 

Marty Creel

Fire Chief

Marty Creel is the Sutter Basin Fire Protection District Fire Chief. 

Marty provides guidance, training and expertise to the Robbins Volunteer Fire Department. Marty has worked for 28 years in EMS, 24 years as a paramedic, 15 years as a paid firefighter, and 8 years as a volunteer firefighter. He has held ranks which include firefighter, engineer, captain, acting Battalion Chief, Fire Chief, and Executive Director CSFA. In his free time, he enjoys traveling and working in his yard.
